When we built our house we weren't crazy about the upgrade options for lighting, so we went with the standard lights throughout. They are nice, but eventually I'd like to replace at least the ones in our foyer, kitchen, and dining room, so I thought I'd share some of my favorites here. Maybe it will help inspire you!

I have this light sitting in our guest room closet right now. When I got it I planned on putting it in our kitchen nook, but it would also work in our dining room, the study, or the guest room. I just need to decide where it's going to go and put it up!
